Monday 19th May.
Runaway win for C(Messer) 28-8 against A (Parris). Good to see a youngster on each team. It will be interesting to see how they develop over the season. With the right encouragement they will grow to be better players. In the other game the scores were much closer and the two skips Mike Meadows and Martin Joyce had to play hard against each other. Winner of the game was E (Allen) 17-13

Week 5 results
Weather pretty good, but light not good for the evening game preceding the summer solstice. if I was really pessimistic I'd tell you that it starts to get darker again in the evening next week - but I won't do that I'll say how wonderful it is that the wettest June since records began was merely a figment of the Met office 'imagination', sorry - Met office computers.
As to the bowling it was a great night for this man who skipped for Team D. Team C continue to be the team for everyone to look up to with 4 wins out of 4

Week 6 results
Steve Allen has been on his hols for the past two weeks. This has coincided with a very sunny and hot summer, with the green not watered it is now playing about 10 yards quicker than when he went away!!
Tonight, Richard Pethick, Harrison Drey and Alan Messer, had a great (really enjoyable to play in) match against Dave Robbins, Ron Hyam and Colin Kent. The result could have gone either way, but when your lucks in your lucks in.
RESULTS WEEK 6 of 15
D (ROBBINS) 20 - 23 C (MESSER) A (PARRIS) 18 - 14 B (WILCOX)
TABLE
MESSER 10 points ROBBINS, PARRIS, ALLEN 4 points WILCOX 2 points

Week 7 results MONDAY 30th JUNE
All good things must end, and so finished the winning run for the league leaders, they took a heavy defeat 18-10 from A (Parris) The match was really decided at the front end by the leads. Richard Pethick for Team E outbowled by younger brother Lawrence Team A.
Derek Meechan obviously didn't like his appearance at the bottom of the performance league. He no longer holds that position after skipping Team E (Allen) to a comfortable 25-10 win against bottom of the league B (Wilcox).
RESULTS
A (Parris) 18-10 C (Messer)
E (Allen) 25-10 B (Wilcox)
LEAGUE POSITIONS
MESSER 10 PARRIS, ALLEN 6 ROBBINS 4 WILCOX 2

I'm sure others will fill in the gaps as I'm a bit pushed for time this week.
Alan Messer's team drew 17-17 with Steve Allen's men.
Barry Parris possibly needs to think more tactically about his team as they went down 15-25 to Dave Robbins trio of Ron Hyam, Ray Elliott and Roy Barclay.
League positions after the 8th Week of 15
C (Messer) 11 points E (Allen) 7 points D (Robbins) 6 points A (Parris) 6 points B (Wilcox) 2 points

Week 12 of 15
looks like Barry took my advice last week and his team A beat the league leaders by 17-15.
Steve Allen's 3 of himself, Derek Meechan and Micky Pope comfortably beat Bill Wilcox's 3; Tony Broad, Martin Joyce and Christian Pethick 21-14.
All of this means that the league table now looks like this
Messer P 10 Pts 13 Allen P 9 Pts 13 Robbins P9 Pts 8 Parris P 10 Pts 8 Wilcox P 10 Pts 6
This sets up a big game for next week as the two top teams play each other. Realistically though I think the title must be heading towards Groundkeeper Willie's team.

Week 13 of 15
The destination of the Triples League is still not certain
C (Messer) put themslves back into pole position by beating close rivals E (Allen) 20-9
A (Parris) easily beat D (Robbins) 22-9
All of which means the league table is as below
C (Messer) P 11 Pts 15 E (Allen) P 10 Pts 13 A (Parris) P 11 Pts 10 D (Robbins P10 Pts 8 B (Wilcox) P 10 Pts 6
So the equation now is Messer has a far superior shot difference to Allen. Messer therefore needs to win their final game on September 1st to be champions. If Allen lose next week the title race is over anyway and they will have to settle for runners up.
3rd place is still anyones!!
