2 Cracking games took place along side each other - both were decided on the very final 21st end.
Wally Burrows and Mike Meadows beat John Fairs and Butch Shakespeare 23-22. Remarkably John and Butch led 17-22 after the 19th end.
John Schools and John Proffitt also refused to accept defeat and in a very low scoring match - 2 rather distant bowls on the last end were enough to win 18-16 - a 4 shot turnaround in the last two ends.

The very last semi final completed by a very close encounter. This match settled in the 21st end with a wood drawn by Wally Burrows to take himself and partner Mike meadows into the final.
