David Smith given a walkover by Wally Burrows Matthew Smith won his game but for some reason played some extra ends. Please Note The game is over at 21 ends or sooner if the leading score cannot be caught within 21 ends Derek Meechan looked pretty unstoppable beating Gary Wyatt 19-5 in just 16 ends (see note above)

Alan Messer beat Roy Barclay 16-12. Alan was 14-6 shots up at 14 ends but needed a further 6 ends to gain the 2 shots more necessary to take the tie

CORRECTION
The final score was actually 15-14 to Gus and this was achieved in the extra 22nd end.

Both semi finals took place alongside each other on rinks 1 and 2 John Fairs looked to be well on the way to victory, but 7 ends in a row from Alan Messer saw him home 16-13 Matthew Smith might have had the same fate if the game had been over 23 ends, but Keith ran out of ends and Matthew has reached another final to add to the Championship Singles and Pairs Thanks to Derek Meechan and to Roy Barclay for marking the games
