CASH COMP 2016
The Competition and Handicap Committee have allocated Saturday and Sunday 3rd and Sunday 4th of September as a slot for a new club competition. It is likely that the Sunday option will not be used, but is a failsafe in case of bad weather.
The Competition will be a KO competition based on 2 Wood Pairs. Entrants would have a partner drawn for them on the day and the competition would cost £5 per entrant, also collectable on the day.
The exact format – number of ends, etc. would be determined by the number of entrants. All money raised by the entrant fees would go straight back to the most successful players, based on a formula relating to Winners, Runners Up, Plate Winners and Plate Runners UP
A plate competition would be available for first round losers. If you want to play put you name down on the sheet in the Pavilion to confirm your participation. You do not need to have a partner in mind at this time.
It would be helpful if you could also email me to indicate that the Cash 2 Wood Pairs is a competition which we as a club should run
